Part Number Key: xxxx designates the lamp type. Add required 4
digit lamp dash number from Lamp Table below to selected part number to describe
assembly. Example: L-43170-250-FGD-7152 is a 5V, 115 mA assembly using our NVIS
Green A flat glass dome filter assembled with our L-7152-AS15 lamp with an O.D.
of 0.240 (6,1) and maximum overall length of 0.185 (4,7 mm). Only AS15 lamps are
used our assemblies.

Lumitron uses only G.E.'s Noryl engineered plastic for our NVIS
lamp/filter assembly bases. Noryl offers superior insulation properties in the
harshest environments and under severe thermal cycling.
o
NVIS White does
not fully conform to military specification. It is a cost-effective alternative
to civilian, law enforcement, airborne medical evacuation, and search and rescue
NVG conversions. The NVIS radiance is reduced so that night time NVG use is not
degraded, while day time conspicuousness of instrument markings and color are
still perceptible to the unaided eye.

Type V NVIS Ring Filters
and Type IV NVIS Ring Filter/Lamp assemblies include heat-sink aluminum cap.
NVIS Lamps (both NVIS T-1 ¾ midget flange base and NVIS lamp/filter
assemblies) are subject to some degree of “abbreviated life” from the rated life
of the unfiltered lamp. Performance and life of lamp/filter assemblies are
directly related to the environment in which they operate. Suitability of
lamp/filter assemblies for specific applications must be determined by the user.
Custom sizes always available.
